Melissa M. Simpson

Hello! I am Melissa M. Simpson, and I have been an attorney for 24 years. I did my undergraduate work at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, and graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington in1998. I have been licensed to practice law in the State of Texas since 1998 and am also licensed in the State of Louisiana (inactive status.)
I have experience in both the public and private sectors of the practice of law. I began my career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Collin County District Attorney’s Office. Since then I have worked for a major legal research corporation, as well as in private practice for myself and a large firm. I have experience in general civil litigation matters, including, but not limited to: real estate, landlord/tenant, contracts, property line disputes, wills, and Deceptive Trade Practice Act matters.

I have been married for more than 24 years and have three children. When not practicing law you will most likely find me at the soccer field, walking our dogs, or taking a rowing class.
